ESSENTIAL OILS

Lemon Scented Tea Tree.

Bright, sunny lemon over a clean herbal base — the most uplifting oil in the range.

Despite the name, this isn't a citrus at all. Lemon scented tea tree is steam-distilled from the leaves of Leptospermum petersonii and its bright, lemon scent comes from natural citral and citronellal — the same compounds behind that fresh, just-zested lift of a fresh lemon. Ours is grown and distilled on the farm: nothing added, nothing hidden. It earns its place in the kitchen and the living room more than the bathroom cabinet. Reach for it to cut through cooking smells, freshen air and linen, or lift a flat, foggy afternoon. A little goes a long way, so dilute it well before it touches skin, and patch test first.

Good to know: pure oils don't dissolve in water, so for a fresh-smelling spray, stir it into a little unscented soap or witch hazel first — then it blends through instead of floating on top. Just give it a shake before each spritz.
